Ealing Hospital NHS opt for the Dakota IS Healthcare solution
Ealing Hospital NHS Trust has appointed Dakota IS as partner of choice to help roll out their Positive Patient ID project prior to the18th July 2009 NPSA deadline.
The project involves 35 x Zebra HC100 wristband printers, ZebraNet Bridge remote management software, SoloMed contingency software & integraton with the trusts various hospital systems. Dakota faced stiff opposition from Sato & LaserBand in securing this project with the Zebra product suite, however, Ealing opted for Dakota based upon their referenceability, expertise & creative way they proposed their solution.
Commenting on the award Mike Jackson, Sales & Marketing Director said “we’re delighted to have secured this project bearing in mind the rigorous selection process & the competition faced from much bigger players than ourselves within the healthcare sector. We were also commended to Ealing by a neighbouring trust based upon a similar project we rolled out for them which is testament to the reputation we are developing in the NHS.”
