Warrington & Halton NHS go with the Dakota IS PASiMED integrated solution
Warrington & Halton NHS based in North Cheshire have engaged the services of Dakota Integrated Solutions to help roll out printed wristbands across the trust. The project incorporated integration with the trusts PAS system, formatting the wristband layout to comply with NPSA & GS1 guidelines including 2D barcode symbology and the provision of the revolutionary HC100 printer from Zebra. Part of the project also included printer set up & configuration undertaken by Dakota’s Professional Services team.
Dakota went through a rigorous selection process before being awarded the contract and fought off competition from a number of other reseller providers. Of significance was the demonstrations undertaken by Dakota with the trust who also attended GS1 seminars concerning printed wristbands where Dakota were present.
Geoff Monk, Healthcare Account Manager at Dakota commented “We were really pleased to be awarded the contract by Warrington NHS given its’ proximity to our offices & the competition we faced during the selection process. With this latest project we have now supplied in excess of 1400 Zebra HC100 printers in to the NHS which is testament to the reputation the printer is developing in the healthcare market & the expertise of Dakota’s technical team in providing seamless integration to hospital systems.”
