Dakota Mobile launches new Mobius "Cloud" ePOD solution for remote workers
Dakota Mobile has recently launched the Mobius platform to provide a fully hosted, scalable solution ideal for Small to Medium sized Enterprises engaged in the process of delivering & collecting goods. Mobius allows field based operatives to access & receive real-time data from HQ in a dynamic fashion to meet the needs of their customers whilst providing Proof of Delivery (POD) information.
Commenting on the Mobius launch Keith Hardy, MD of Dakota said “We have scoured the market for an appropriate partner to help us develop the Mobius concept but in the end we resorted to development in-house to retain flexibility on product enhancement & to be able to respond to our customer’s needs in a quick, cost effective manner.”
He went on to say “The Mobius platform has been developed using the latest cloud based technology to ensure maximum resilience, reliability & solution availbility for our clients in their mission critical business environments.
Mobius offers SME’s with limited IT capabilities a fully hosted solution with the ability to send data to and receive data back from their remote operatives in a real-time fashion whilst out in the field. Crucially, we are aiming for 100% availability for our clients not only to minimise business disruption but also to allow them to respond quickly to their client’s requirements which we feel is essential in the dynamic way many businesses now operate.”
