Our Background

Established in 2002 as BarCode Data Systems (BCDS), part of the BarCode Data Group, our traditional markets were seen within the Warehousing, Manufacturing & Logistics verticals due to the expertise within the company & our core customer base.

A Management Buy Out (MBO) was conducted in September 2007 from where Dakota Integrated Solutions was formed, taking the team from BCDS “en bloc”. We relocated to Carrington Business Park in to purpose built offices that better reflect our aspirations as a company & those of a professional organisation.

With the shrinking nature of “UK Manufacturing plc” Dakota launched the “Mobius” suite of mobile applications in early 2009 to give clients the ability to mobilise their workforce whilst out in the field for service, delivery, collection, routing & scheduling type requirements.

Dakota Integrated Solutions has a wealth of knowledge and experience in specifying and implementing all types of data capture & mobile data capture solutions including hardware, software, integration with 3rd party software/ERP systems & wireless deployment. Additionally we have added truly mobile application development as part of our client offering, applications that have helped clients deploy mobility throughout their business to drive efficiency & improve profitability.
